Many of our clients have met Dave Dobson but for those who haven’t here is a chance to get to know his impact on the communication and digital industry and our local community.
Since 1994, Dave has been a steady hand as a Sales Consultant at Smart Link Solutions. It is hard to believe how our company has grown from its humble roots of selling the early innovation of Message on Hold advertising more than two decades ago to a company serving a diverse variety of industries with communication solutions and digital marketing strategies, and Dave has been here to help make it happen since the beginning! Many of Dave’s clients have remained loyal to Smart Link Solutions because of his genuine customer care. Finding the right fit of Message on Hold productions and Digital Marketing Services that help the client expand their business is Dave’s ultimate goal for each of his 80+ clients.
But as business leaders, we know leadership must branch out into the community. Dave has spent over 35 years of sharing his time with his faith community as a Sunday School teacher and youth leader. Dave is currently working with third grade through sixth-grade students at Lakes Community Church hosted at Walled Lake Central High School, Dave also finds time to attend special events hosted for children of all ages.
This past Memorial Day, Dave joined the AMVETS as a first-time participant in the annual parade through Milford, Michigan. AMVETS is a service organization of military veterans that work to support veterans and their families in need of healthcare, careers, and scholarships. AMVETS’ services include; visiting VA hospitals, providing wheelchairs, funeral services, helping families of active duty personnel while the member is overseas, fundraising, participating in parades, and meeting many other social needs of military families and veterans.
Dave himself served six years in the United States Navy. He served aboard an ammunition ship named the U.S.S. Firedrake AE-14. The Firedrakes mission was to supply aircraft carriers, cruisers, and destroyers with the ammunition they needed to support the ground troops.
